About Family Service Of Glencoe

Our organization’s story began with a house fire in 1914 and a group of concerned Glencoe citizens who rallied to the aid of a family in need. From that tragedy, a truth emerged—in times of crisis, our community comes together to support those in need. The seeds of Family Service of Glencoe were planted.

Throughout the years, times have changed, but FSG’s mission remains—promote a stronger community by meeting individual and family needs through services that identify, prevent and resolve social and emotional problems. We believe that healthy families make for a strong and healthy community.
